The story is that they both were sitting on the beach one day, appreciating Hawai'i's beauty and special atmosphere. For one, I think Kalaheo was quicker than Montrose expected, and that probably helped the Mustangs come up with six steals in the first period alone. There was stuff they could build on. I think there is so much more out there for them to learn and enjoy at the ballpark, in the gym or at the beach. Anyway, fortunately it seems like this new format was a one-time thing and won't become the norm. Our family didn't even own a VCR until my junior year of college, so forget about videotapes, much less DVDs. That's why it's such a great opportunity for Hawai'i teams like Kalaheo to play Montrose Christian and give them all they've got. .
